MATERIALS
- Two blindfolds
- Two rolled-up newspapers or soft padded tubes
HOW TO PLAY
1
Two players lie or kneel facing each other on a mat or soft ground, each blindfolded and holding one end of a rolled newspaper.
2
One player calls out, "Are you there, Moriarty?" and the other must answer, "Yes," giving away the direction their voice is coming from.
3
Immediately after answering, the first player swings their rolled newspaper toward the sound, trying to gently tap the other player.
4
Turns then pass to the other player, who calls the question and swings while the first player answers and tries to dodge.
5
Players alternate calling, answering, and swinging for an agreed number of rounds or until one side lands a set number of taps.
6
Whoever lands the most successful taps, or reaches the target first, is declared the winner.
