MATERIALS
- A short tapered stick (alak)
- A longer striking stick (dolak)
HOW TO PLAY
1
Rest the short tapered stick across a small stone or brick so one end tips upward off the ground.
2
Strike the raised end sharply with the longer stick to flip the short stick into the air.
3
While it is airborne, hit the short stick again with the longer stick to drive it as far as possible.
4
Opposing players may try to catch the short stick in the air to end the striker's turn.
5
If it lands uncaught, count the distance in lengths of the longer stick and add it to the striker's score.
6
After an agreed number of turns each, the player with the highest total score wins.
