MATERIALS
- A wooden board with two rows of pits
- 36 small seeds or beans
HOW TO PLAY
1
Place an equal number of seeds, commonly three, in every pit before play begins.
2
On your turn, choose a pit on your side, scoop up its seeds, and drop them one at a time into each pit going counterclockwise.
3
If your final seed lands in an opponent's pit and brings its total to two or three, you capture all the seeds there.
4
Continue capturing backward through the row as long as each preceding pit also ends at two or three seeds.
5
The player who has captured the most seeds once the board is cleared out wins the match.
