MATERIALS
- A board marked with a grid of connected points
- 1 piece representing the jaguar
- 14 pieces representing dogs
HOW TO PLAY
1
One player controls a single jaguar piece and the other controls a larger group of dog pieces, starting from opposite ends of the board.
2
The dogs move one point at a time along the board's lines, always advancing toward the jaguar's side.
3
The jaguar moves along the lines too, and can jump over an adjacent dog into an empty point beyond it to capture that dog.
4
The dog player wins by surrounding the jaguar so it has no legal move or jump left.
5
The jaguar player wins by capturing enough dogs that the remaining dogs cannot trap it.
6
Agree beforehand on how many dogs must remain for the dog side to still have a chance at trapping the jaguar.
