MATERIALS
- A grid of shallow holes scooped in packed earth
- Small seeds, pebbles, or bottle caps as counters
HOW TO PLAY
1
Distribute an equal number of seeds into each hole along the players' rows at the start.
2
Players take turns scooping all seeds from one of their own holes and sowing them one at a time into the following holes.
3
Landing the final seed of a turn in specific hole arrangements allows a player to capture the seeds in that hole and pass them to their store.
4
Turns continue back and forth, with players trying to set up favorable captures while avoiding leaving easy captures for their opponent.
5
When one player's row is completely empty and no more legal moves remain, remaining seeds are counted, and the player with more seeds wins.
