40th Birthday Decade Time Capsule

Ask each guest to bring or write down a small memory, prediction, or note for the birthday guest.

Guests place their items into a box during the party.

Seal the box together and agree on a future date, often ten years later, to reopen it.

Label the outside with the sealing date and the planned reopening date.

Store the sealed capsule somewhere safe until that future celebration.
