- A cake with 40 candles
- A lighter or matches
- A stopwatch
HOW TO PLAY
1
Light all 40 candles on the cake while guests gather around.

Start the stopwatch the moment the birthday person begins blowing.

The birthday person attempts to blow out every candle in as few breaths as possible.
4
Guests count aloud the number of breaths taken until all candles are out.
5
Compare the time and breath count to any previous year's attempt, if tracked, for a fun record.
